About Our Restaurant

I stayed at the Stellenbosch Hotel and ate here twice for dinner during my stay and every morning for the breakfast. Both dinners, the food and wine were excellent and the service was friendly and just attentive enough.

Serendipity….the dictionary description is an unplanned, fortunate discovery. And that is the perfect way, to sum up our experience. My partner and I originally lucked upon this nirvana while looking for a place to have a refreshing beverage. One drink became three while being thoroughly entertained by the “Doctor” behind the bar.

Being a tourguide for 14 years, I have never recieved such good service and a+++ quality food from any restaurant in Stellenbosch as I have recieved from Stellenbosch kitchen!!! You guys are great and keep up the great service please!!!

Our trip to Stellenbosch definitely ended on a high note at Stellenbosch kitchen. The burger was to die for!!! Absolutely recommend.

The best burger in town title is well deserved. The monster burger was so amazing and delicious. Taste buds were dancing with joy.... Fantastic service from Vision and his team. Would definitely recommend Stellenbosch Kitchen to everyone. Great food. Great service. Great location. A true gem indeed.

Helpful and pleasant staff saw to our needs each morning despite the hotel being quite full and busy. We were quite a demanding bunch but were well taken care of.

I’m absolutely in love with this restaurant. Their warm, homelike feel makes it so attractive and let me not forget the food which is immaculate. The customer service is amazing. Our waitress, AAyanda was absolutely amazing and so friendly. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!

Great restaurant to have dinner in the heart of winter as they have a big fire place. Atmoshere was very cozy and food and staff were excellent.

Very cosy restaurant with fireplace and live music in the background. Very kind and professional staff. The food is excellent, we ate a good pizza and some excellent fish all accompanied by a good local wine.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious. Best gluten free pizza I've ever had, and our waitress Yandio was incredible. Her service was first class.

The restaurant had amazing food, including a free buffet breakfast if you are staying at the hotel. The staff were so warm and friendly and the food was very quick. I very much enjoyed my meals and my stay here! I highly recommend if you are staying in Stellenbosch.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Stellenbosch Kitchen. There was a great selection of wines and other beverages to choose from. Both the food and the service — especially from our waiter, Shaun — were excellent. A wonderful place to visit for either lunch or dinner!

Lovely restaurant, good food, nice setting and staff all very friendly. We had Lulama look after us for the evening and was a really nice waiter, very friendly and helpful!

Fabulous experience. Kudzai and Carlisle looked after us so well. I created my own pizza and it was perfectly cooked. Delicious. Absolutely spotlessly clean and beautiful atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

Dinner on the terrace, a relaxed affair. One California pizza, one grilled line fish both well prepared and cooked spot on. Served by Shaun, new to the establishment but very helpful and happy to chat with us, shedding new light on life in Stellenbosch from what the tourists usually see. He’s an asset to the Kitchen!

I’m so glad I came. I was a guest at the hotel and usually don’t choose to have my meals on premises (besides breakfast), but I decided to have a quick meal before retiring to my room. The service was excellent. I had a nice outdoor table. The burger with its caramelised onions was out of this world flavourful

Wonderful experience. Family dinner for 9. Kids ranging in age from 12 to 16. Everyone enjoyed the entire meal.great service.

We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, not as guests. What an amazing experience we had! Lovely food, great service from Shirwan who served us. He made us feel welcome and treated us with utmost respect and friendliness! We will be back...thank you! And thank you Damian for the wine chats !
